The technique comes first, followed by the scene, action, performance and duration. Paste it straight into a video model and swap in your own characters and plot.
The camera is rolled about 20° along the lens axis, the horizon clearly crooked. Outside an interrogation room, a man in a shirt leans against the wall waiting for the result; the tilted frame makes him look like he could fall at any moment. He keeps folding a sheet of paper in his hands and says to the colleague beside him, “If he won't confess, we've got no evidence.” 4 seconds, the tilt fixed without drifting, the man centered slightly to one side.

Common pitfalls
- Tilted too far, it looks like someone didn't hold the phone straight.
- The model will level the horizon on its own; stress that the tilt is fixed.
- Used throughout a film, it looks cheap.
