(For a voice tool) Voice-over, a man in his twenties, speaking slowly, calm with a trace of guilt, a one-second pause between lines: “That New Year's Eve, I didn't tell my family I'd lost my job. I just said work was busy and I wasn't coming home this year.” (On screen: he walks alone down a snowy street, without saying a word.)
04
Common pitfalls
- The voice-over repeats what you can already see on screen.
- Too much voice-over leaves the picture no room to breathe.
- The voice's emotion doesn't match the picture.

Parameter tips
The voice-over says what the picture can't (thoughts, the past, outcomes); leave 1 s between lines.
