Sample prompt · generate a video directly
The technique comes first, followed by the scene, action, performance and duration. Paste it straight into a video model and swap in your own characters and plot.
(Upload the first frame: a girl sitting at a desk by the window, the desk lamp on) The girl stops writing and slowly turns her head toward the window; the curtain lifts gently in the wind and a few snowflakes drift in. The camera slowly pushes in to her profile; everything else stays the same. 4 seconds.
04
Common pitfalls
- The prompt describes the whole scene again and the model changes the original image.
- Asking for too many actions breaks the image.
- Flaws in the first frame (fingers, text) become more obvious once it moves.

Parameter tips
An image-to-video prompt only describes how things move: the character's action, camera movement, changes in the environment.
