The technique comes first, followed by the scene, action, performance and duration. Paste it straight into a video model and swap in your own characters and plot.
A single long take shot continuously, no cuts or edit points, the camera following with restraint. It starts at the door of a wedding banquet hall, follows a waiter carrying dishes through round tables full of guests, passes the groom giving his speech, and finally stops on the best man drinking alone in a corner, who raises his glass: “To your happiness.” 10 seconds, people and space continuous with no jumps, no cuts.
04
Common pitfalls
- AI changes the person or the location partway through the take.
- Asking for a long take and multiple angles at once is a contradiction.
05
Parameter tips
Most models currently do 5 to 10 s per clip; for a longer oner, extend from the last frame and join the segments.
