Extreme wide shot, the person less than a tenth of the frame height. A black sand beach in Iceland under a low, lead-gray sky: a lone figure in a red raincoat walks along the shoreline as the waves surge in and draw back. Locked-off camera, 6 seconds, weather and place clearly readable, no facial detail, and the figure must not grow larger.
04
Common pitfalls
- The person is too big to show the scale of the setting.
- All sky or fog, so the place can't be read.
05
Parameter tips
The person is about 1/10 of the frame height; a locked-off camera is safer, don't ask for a push or pull too.
