Sample prompt · generate an image directly
The technique comes first, followed by the subject, scene, details and aspect ratio. Paste it straight into an image model and swap in your own subject.
Cinematic still, wide 2.39:1 frame, shallow depth of field, the person caught mid-action rather than posed, signs of life in the setting, a consistent cool palette, a clear lighting ratio. A motel room late at night: a man sits on the edge of the bed loosening his tie, blue light from the TV on his face, a car key and half a glass of whisky on the table. The person must not look at the camera.
04
Common pitfalls
- The person poses facing the camera and it instantly becomes an ID photo.
- A setting too clean, with no signs of life.

Parameter tips
Spell out the aspect ratio and “mid-action”; leave one imperfection (creases, water stains, dust).
