The technique comes first, followed by the scene, action, performance and duration. Paste it straight into a video model and swap in your own characters and plot.
Warm/cool contrast: a warm yellow desk lamp on the left of the frame, the cold blue night outside the window on the right, the two lights meeting on the person. A rented room late at night: a girl sits at her desk as her phone screen lights up and goes dark again; she turns the phone face down on the desk and says softly, “Forget it.” 5 seconds; the boundary must not blend into a wash of purple.
04
Common pitfalls
- The two colors mix into dirty gray with no zones.
- The color boundary falls right across the face and looks awkward.
05
Parameter tips
Put the boundary in the background or across the middle of the body, not through the face.
